Just like it says on the tin. We don't need the long version, just a few sentences about you. What does film mean to you, and what are you hoping to achieve on this site?
I'll start! My name is Dermot Tynan and I've been making films for quite a long time. I almost know what I'm doing, but not quite. Mostly I've focused on shorts. I made one documentary to remind me why I don't make documentaries. To be honest, I've become disillusioned with film and filmmaking over the last few years. I miss the "old days" where I'd grab a 16mm Bolex and some friends and go make a film. Now it just seems to be a life of funding applications (and rejections) coupled with festival applications (and rejections). I want to try something new...

One thing that worked: shouting (gently) at human actors.
Two things that didn't... shouting (loudly) at human actors. Shouting (at all) at clay model actors 🙂
