I'll start! My name is Dermot Tynan and I've been making films for quite a long time. I almost know what I'm doing, but not quite. Mostly I've focused on shorts. I made one documentary to remind me why I don't make documentaries. To be honest, I've become disillusioned with film and filmmaking over the last few years. I miss the "old days" where I'd grab a 16mm Bolex and some friends and go make a film. Now it just seems to be a life of funding applications (and rejections) coupled with festival applications (and rejections). I want to try something new...
